WOMEN IN MISSION

LWML_PrimaryMark.png

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The LWML focuses on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.

At the heart of the LWML is its focus on missions. Mission goals are supported through monetary gifts placed into Mite Boxes (www.lwml.org/mites) as a thank offering to God and with a prayer for worldwide missions. Mite Boxes are collected the first Sunday of the Month. Mite Box contributions amount to millions of dollars nationally which fund local, district and national missions. St. Matthew’s LWML has given generously to these charitable needs.

  • Equipping Women
Now may the God of peace … equip you with everything good that you may do his will (Hebrews 13:20–21).
