St. Matthew 101

Wondering how to join St. Matthew? This is the class. St Matthew 101 is our official new member course — and it's also open to any member, longtime or not, who wants a refresher on what we believe. Together we'll dig into the heart of what we believe as Christians, as Lutherans, and as members of the LCMS — from Scripture and the Trinity to grace, the sacraments, and what it means to belong to a church family. Expect honest conversation, real questions, and a chance for longtime members to get to know those exploring membership. Several sessions include "Ask the Pastor" time with Pastor Luke Timm, where no question is off the table. Come curious, come with doubts, come to remember why this all matters.

St Matthew 101 is a four-week experience designed as a starting point or opportunity for you to be more deeply engaged at St. Matthew and explore becoming a member as God leads you.
