Trailers provide refuge, restore lives, and rebuild community

This past Saturday, members of our St. Matthew community had the opportunity to serve alongside Everyone Matters Ministries, helping prepare two trailers that will soon become homes for families in need. What might have looked like a simple morning of cleaning and organizing was, in reality, something much deeper—an opportunity to be part of someone’s fresh start.

Everyone Matters Ministries walks closely with unhoused families for up to a year, offering not just shelter, but a path toward lasting stability. Through support in areas like sobriety, financial stewardship, job readiness, and life skills, their work provides a true “hand up” for those seeking to rebuild their lives.

Our team of volunteers spent the morning in Antelope preparing these spaces—cleaning, stocking, and getting everything ready to welcome new families. With every task completed, the trailers were transformed into places where healing can begin, dignity can be restored, and hope can take root.

We’re grateful for the hands that showed up and the hearts willing to serve. This is a beautiful reflection of who we are as a church—people committed to loving and serving our neighbors in tangible ways.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a difference.
